As you may have heard, the next season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey could look a lot different.
We probably now at least know how to do it.
Amid rumors that most of the cast has been fired from the long-running franchise, Melissa Gorga has drawn a line in the sand.
Gorga appeared on an episode of the Two T’s In a Pod podcast this week, where she didn’t shy away from her feelings about the show in general and Teresa Giudice in particular.
“I’m fully prepared for anything because of all the rumors,” Gorga told hosts Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge of the casting speculation, adding simply that she sister-in-law:
“I think I’ll realize [Giudice] I and I are two completely different characters.
However, that’s not all Melissa has to say about Teresa.
“If Bravo decides to go that route, whatever route it is, is darker, then I need to say, ‘This is not the show I want to be on,’ and it really isn’t,” Gorga continued, speaking directly to Before Judith:
“I don’t want to get into that toxic thing, so as long as she’s there and the whole thing comes back, I don’t feel like it’s a loss.”
Melissa and Teresa have been feuding for years.
They barely shared any scenes on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14, which had such a confusing finale that producers canceled the annual reunion.
Most viewers felt that the storyline had become boring and the characters were boring.
Can the network really fire Giudice and literally start from scratch?
“I’m not leaving. I started this show and when Bravo wants me to leave, I’m going to leave,” Giudice said on “Kelly & Mark Live” last month.
So, it sounds like the decision lies with Andy Cohen and company.
We’re curious what they’ll do with it.
