NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — IMG Artists (IMGA) is pleased to welcome Nicaraguan-American soprano Gabriella Reyes Join our general management roster. Reyes was recently announced as the Sphinx Organization’s 2025 Medal of Excellence recipient, represented by Artist Manager Callan CoughlanJoin IMGA in August 2024.
Reyes, a former member of the Met’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, will return to the Met in the 2024/25 season in a new production of Osvaldo Golyov’s first opera Plays the role of Margarita Xirgu ainadamaas well as Mimì and Musetta in the Franco Zeffirelli classic bohemian style. She returns to Lyric Opera of Chicago Musetta and will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. This season, Reyes also made her long-awaited solo debut with the pianist at Carnegie Hall Andres Sarr for this series Nuestros Sonidos: Celebrating Latin Culture in America.
Reyes returns to the Metropolitan Opera for the 2023/24 season, playing the role of Rosalba in a new production by Daniel Catán Florence on Amazon Working with musical director Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Liu on Turandot. She also made her acting debut in Leoncavallo’s film Neda clown Working with Lyric Opera of Kansas City and revisiting the role of Mimi bohemian style with the Atlanta Opera. Concert highlights include Musetta’s Bohemian with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Bravo Vail Music Festival; the world premiere of Mysteries of Joy with the Houston Chamber Chorus and Orchestra; and Returning to the role of Marzelline Fidelio in Los Angeles with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Gustavo Dudamel; and toured Europe, including stops at Riccio in Barcelona, the Paris Philharmonic, and the Barbican Center in London.
