Brittany Cartwright officially filed for divorce from Jax Taylor on Labor Day 2024.
Court documents filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 26, reportedly revealed that the “Valley” star filed to dissolve her marriage to a minor child. Page six.

In the documents, Brittany asked the judge to waive spousal support for her and Jax. She also sought joint custody of their three-year-old son, Cruz, while her ex-husband was granted visitation rights.

Prior to Jax’s comments, Brittany hadn’t been on Jax’s Instagram page since July, which is a bit strange considering how often the guy posts.
Then, out of the blue, the happy couple were all smiles in photos from the People’s Choice Awards after-party.
Fans were quick to comment on Brittany’s sudden appearance, with many taking it to be a sign that the divorce rumors were false.
“You two look incredible together! Please tell me the divorce rumors are false! You belong together [red heart emoji],” one person wrote. Jax responded – and he’s been saying they’re fine ever since.

A month after the awards ceremony, the two discussed their marriage on a podcast, When Jax and Brittany meet reality.
They were quick to insist that they were making their marriage work and would continue to do so.
