Jana Duggar is clearly her own woman, folks.
First, the 34-year-old took a long time (by her unique family’s standards) to get married, and finally exchanged vows with Stephen Wissmann just a few days ago.
“Just to see it happen is unbelievable, kind of unbelievable. It’s a dream come true,” Jana told People in response to the wedding.
Meanwhile, it’s now clear that Duggar has been playing by his own rules when it comes to Weissman for a while… as those who watched the newlyweds interact on their big day suspected.
On August 24, Jana uploaded a video on YouTube titled “Surprised My Boyfriend at Work,” in which she and her two younger siblings drove to Nebraska to meet with someone who was installing an irrigation system. Meet Weisman.
“[It] He and I spent the whole day,” Duggar gushed in the video’s caption, explaining Weisman’s reaction to her being shown up in this way.
How sweet, right?
But here’s where the controversy gets…
Meanwhile, when the couple saw each other for the first time, Duggar and Weisman rushed to each other and hugged each other — full-frontal!
Soon after, Jana was in his car with Stephen – and they held hands throughout the entire drive!
Both actions violate the sacred courtship rules instilled in their children by ridiculous parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, who only allow their children to be “side-carried” on dates.
Absolutely no kissing or holding hands of any kind.
It’s also worth noting that Jana called Weisman “boyfriend” before the two were married and wore jeans in public, more often than not giving the middle finger to her parents.
Dugger moved to Nebraska for Weisman.
And it is very likely that she will be pregnant with his child in the near future.
Jana and Stephen have known each other for years because their controlling parents were good friends. Heck, Jana’s brother Jeremiah Duggar is even married to Weisman’s sister, Hannah Weisman. This is all normal.
The latest clip is captioned “Follow us around the house” at the end, teasing the next step in the duo’s romantic journey. “coming soon!”
