Jules Leblanc — the man behind the viral “very dignified, very thoughtful” trend — was upset that someone else filed for a trademark first… and posted a now-deleted video that made them cry.
The viral social media star shared a video on TikTok on Sunday… that barely captured their facial expressions as they lay in bed, lamenting how much time she’s spent on social media to no avail.
Jools LeBron, the creator of the popular word “modesty,” says she can’t launch merchandise because her viral phrase is trademarked:
“I was hoping this would do a lot for my family and help with my transition, but I just feel like I failed.” pic.twitter.com/FxTVHfb6Lo

They said they desperately wanted to make some money for their family… and pay for their transition — and they felt they were missing out by not filing for a trademark first.
It’s worth noting… that trademarks are not necessarily issued on a first-come, first-served basis – the legal process allows multiple parties to make their own claims.
That’s probably why Jools deleted the video so quickly… they probably realized their cause wasn’t completely hopeless.
We covered the story…a man named Jefferson Bates from Washington state Trademark has been applied for “Very dignified..very thoughtful..” Hoping to make some money from this viral phrase.
Waiting for your permission to load Instagram media.
We’re pretty sure Jolles aren’t behind the petition — though the name of their administration remains unknown — as they’re based near Chicago, and this footage seems to confirm they haven’t filed yet.
So, with this all over, it seems it’s time for LeBron to be dignified, cautious… and, possibly, hire a lawyer!
