Instead, these are the wedding bells to come…because Kailyn Lowry gets engaged to boyfriend Elijah Scott!
The Teen Mom 2 actor dropped the romantic bombshell during a chat with Coffee Convos podcast co-host Lindsie Chrisley on Aug. 22.
At one point, Chrisley noticed the diamond on her friend’s ring finger and simply asked, “Wait, are you married?”
The veteran reality star laughed it off, explaining that she wasn’t married yet. However.
“This is the ring they gave you before you got married,” the mother of five replied.
Lori went on to joke that she wasn’t planning on sharing the news with the public just yet, but that Scott would be “so happy” it was finally out there.
(Of course, for some of us, this development is already This comes after one of Lori’s exes revealed that Lori was engaged and had set a wedding date.
“I couldn’t really announce it because I couldn’t give you the time it took for him to propose to me,” Kaelin added, explaining that Scott just kept asking Lori to be his wife.
“I was like, ‘Let’s play it by ear,'” the 32-year-old continued. “‘I’ll let you know if one day you have a ring, we’ll reevaluate.'”

To her surprise, one day Ilya “showed up with a ring,” Kailyn told the audience, adding:
“As I was getting ready, he came into the bathroom and gave me the ring. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, thank you!
“We’re both married, so none of us are concerned with the whole, ‘get down on one knee and make everything romantic or whatever,’ because that’s not who we are.”
Lori and Scott have been dating for two years.
The eventual spouses were the parents of a two-year-old son, Leo.
She also has a 10-year-old child with her first husband, Javi Marroquin… and Isaac, 14, with her ex-husband, Jo Rivera; ex Chris Lopez’s sons Lux, 7, and Creed, 4.
Lowry has been very busy over the years. We’re sure she’s busy every day too.
Meanwhile, Scott underwent a vasectomy, according to records, so it sounds like Lori isn’t planning on expanding her family again.
“Going into a relationship and being with Elijah, I felt like it was the last time,” Kaelin said previously.
“If I wasn’t with him, I’d stay single. I feel like I have enough experience, I’ve dated enough people, been married, divorced, nine times.
