The feud between Prince William and Queen Camilla?
Anderson told The Washington Post that William only “tolerated” his stepmother, while Camilla “was always a little scared of William.”
In his book, Andersen details William and Harry’s efforts to oppose Charles and Camilla’s marriage.
His version matches Harry’s memoir, as recounted in his memoir, free.

“They never felt like opening up to her in any real way.”
Kate plays peacemaker
Sources say tensions have eased in recent years, largely due to Kate’s efforts to create peace within the family.

“She never looked down on Camilla and was always kind to her,” the source said, noting that both William and Middleton “enjoyed that Camilla’s normalcy made Charles less stuffy.”
The insider added that William’s wife and stepmother became close after Kate was diagnosed with cancer.
Ironically, they seemed to bond over the fact that they were both civilians.
“Kate likes her because she brings real-life relatability to the family,” the source said.
“She’s not all a courtier waiting hand and foot. Camilla is as real as Kate.
