(CelebrityAccess) — Jody Frisch, a well-known public relations executive whose career spanned the entertainment industry and Washington, D.C., died Aug. 21. She is 68 years old.
Frisch passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, Deadline Hollywood reported.
Frisch, a Los Angeles native, began a career in public relations right out of high school and went on to work with the Writers Guild of America, SAG-AFTRA, BGR Group and the National Foreign Trade Council, among others.
In the 1990s, she served as vice president at Craig Anderson Productions, a production company specializing in television and movies, but moved to Washington, D.C., in 2002 to serve in public relations and legislative affairs roles at Planned Parenthood.
According to Deadline , details of a memorial service celebrating Frisch’s life will be announced in the coming months.
