A Burger King employee who went viral after management gave him a mediocre gift bag has plans for retirement… and, it involves pushing his cooking skills to the limit.
Kevin Ford ——In 2022, he broke out after his BK boss gave him a beautiful reward. Low-key and cheap 27th anniversary gift pack Although he has never missed a day of work, he told TMZ that he has purchased a food truck for the next stage of his life.
Ford tells us he bought the truck trailer from China for about $20,000 including shipping – much cheaper than what you’d find in the US – and it comes complete with oven, deep fryer, etc… Basically, Works fine.
KF will work with his Le Cordon Bleu-trained daughter and plans to start by selling some of the food he’s familiar with…burgers and hot dogs.
He said he wanted to leave BK once he started profiting from “K27Y,” a reference to his viral fame. Ford hopes to retire before next May, when he will have been with the team for 30 years.
While Kevin started with American classics, he told us he wanted to add Filipino dishes to his truck… as a tribute to his Filipino fiancée.
