Barcelo’s charges include a special circumstance allegation of murder during an attempted robbery … and as a result, he faces the possibility of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
He was also charged with one count each of attempted armed robbery and theft.
Estrada was also charged with murder, as well as attempted armed robbery and theft…but unlike Barcelo, his murder charge did not include a special circumstances allegation.
