Rob Schneider is talking about his strained relationship with his daughter, Ellie King.
this hot girl The actor responded to Kim’s recent comments about her “very toxic” childhood during an interview with Tucker Carlson, joking, “Being a parent is fun, isn’t it?”
Addressing the camera directly, he continued, “I just want to tell my daughter, Elle, that I love you and I hope I’m the 20-something dad you need. Obviously I’m not. I hope you can forgive me for my actions.” Shortcomings I love you with all my heart.
Schneider, 60, shares King with his ex-partner, model London King. In September 2021, the “Ex’s and Oh’s” singer, 35, welcomed her son Lucky, who became a grandfather.
“I just wish you and your beautiful baby luck, the best, and happiness,” Schneider added. “I wish you the best. I feel terrible. I just want you to know that I’m not taking anything you say seriously. Take it personally.”
Carlson then asked Schneider if it was a challenge not to fight back at King.
“If you love someone at all,” Schneider began, “I love her. I just want her to be happy and heal from that.”
Kim tells her history her dad in the latest episode of RabbitXOPodcast, stupid blonde. She said Kim’s appearance was a source of tension between father and daughter, which led Schneider to send her to “fat camp” when she was a child.
“I was a very, very heavy kid. My dad sent me to obesity camp,” Kim told jelly rollThe 44-year-old wife during the podcast. “It was tough. Then one year I was in trouble because I sprained my ankle and I didn’t lose any weight. It was very toxic and very stupid.”
“It was terrible. But it was like where he sent me. I went two summers in a row. I was 11 and 12 years old,” she continued. “You get a slice of turkey and steamed vegetables with every meal, and they keep you exercising all day long.”
Kim said she didn’t see the results, but that “a lot of other celebrities’ kids went there.” She said the traumatic experience “100%” triggered her anger towards her father.
“I don’t want to spend a summer with him anymore,” King said of Snyder.
The singer said her tattoos were also an issue for her conservative father.
She continued, “I’ve started getting tattoos and it’s been like 108 degrees every day. So I have to wear sweaters because my dad is very against tattoos or any form of self-expression that’s different than what he wants.” Literally – he didn’t even think about me.
King added that she didn’t have a close relationship with Schneider growing up and claimed he “forgot every birthday.” It wasn’t until she was “much older” that they were able to connect.
“Whenever my dad wants to take me on a trip, he forgets he has me,” she claims.
Instead, Kim considers her stepfather, Justin Tessa, to be her father.
“I would spend time with my dad, but my mom raised me like she always was, a single mom, until she met my stepdad, who was also my dad,” she said. “He totally raised me.”
When she had the opportunity to spend a summer with Snyder as a child on a movie set, she often “got lost in the chaos.”
She later added, “If I — gosh, if I screw up a shot, or if there’s an arm in the camera, or if I talk, I’m going to be in trouble.” Fuck — big trouble.
The “Baby Daddy’s Weekend” singer also said Schneider’s outspoken views on drag and the LGBTQ community created a barrier between them.
“Right now, we’re not mobile,” she said. “I don’t agree with a lot of things he says. He just, I don’t know. You can want someone to make such a big change, but ultimately you can’t control other people’s actions, you can’t control how people feel. All that you can control It’s your reaction and how you process your feelings.
She continued, “Sometimes I fucking boil and I fucking break my lid. I’m trying not to do that.”
Although Kim allegedly tried to repair their broken relationship, she could never get her father to see eye to eye with her.
“You try every different angle,” she said. “I’ll try to write, I’ll try to be gentle, I’ll try to yell… It’s psychosis.”
King went on to say of Snyder, “You’re talking about drag, you know, anti-gay rights, and it’s like fuck off. He’s just talking about getting out of his—”
She then used the podcast as an opportunity to express her disagreement with her father’s beliefs.
“I want to use this opportunity to express my dissent. I don’t agree with what he said,” King said. “I believe in love in all its forms. I just believe that anyone can find their own happiness and joy in any way, regardless of ability. There are no politics when it comes to love.”
Kim revealed that she and her father hadn’t spoken for “four or five years.” She added that she has never received any help from him professionally and plans to continue paving her own path.
“He never helped me, I never needed his help,” she said. “He doesn’t have a great reputation either…I don’t want anything to do with him…He’s just not nice.”
