Jinger Duggar and her husband Jeremy Vuolo have been living in California for many years. Now, they’re doubling down on Southern California residency…and paying a steep price in the process.
Jinger and Jeremy teased their move on Instagram to promote the return of their podcast.
According to Realtor.com, Jinger and Jeremy purchased a new $1.9 million home in Santa Clarita. Their swanky new residence is in the small community of Newhall.
Interestingly, the Voloss’ new house recently changed hands. In 2022, Master’s University and Seminary purchased it. The private Christian college is leased to Ginger and Jeremy.
Yes, this is also the university where Jeremy Vuolo went to graduate school.
Now, Jinger Duggar is achieving a dream that remains out of reach for most American millennials — trading in a lease agreement for a mortgage. In this case, financing in the form of a $1.52 million loan was involved.
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo moved to California in 2019
After marrying, Jeremy Warlow and the Arkansas native moved to Laredo, Texas. This has created a geographical distance between Jinger and the family and family adoration in which she grew up.
Then, in 2019, the family moved to Los Angeles. City life is largely the opposite of the Dugar lifestyle, which emphasizes cultural isolation—especially for children.
Ginger and Jeremy got under their skin by moving into and showing off a particularly nice house. They appear to have struck a sweetheart deal through the church and appear eager to show off the digs on social media. It wasn’t popular with many critics.
In 2022, Ginger and Jeremy purchased a house in Los Angeles for $830,000.
It was a five-bedroom, 1,800-square-foot home. When they put it on the market in June, they set the asking price at $900,000.
Their new homes cost more than double that price. It has more space… but also has the disadvantage of being further away from the city where the action takes place.

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo’s new house is a Tudor-style house that dates back to the 1980s.
It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms with a floor plan of 4,696 square feet.
The house sits on five acres of land.
As we recently reported, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are also selling their home. Presumably, they are upgrading to a new digs.
Still, we doubt Jinger Duggar’s new house will put the rest of the family to shame.
Some Duggar fans might argue that Jim Bob’s Duggar compound may have more space than the new Volo residence. But does it have the same value to potential buyers? Tondetown, Arkansas, isn’t exactly Southern California.
