Zach Braff All for one Scrub Restart. While speaking with ET’s Denny Directo, the 49-year-old actor revealed what’s holding up the hospital-set sitcom reboot.
“I’m going to tell you something no one else can know,” Braff promised ET. “Scrub It’s a Disney show. bill [Lawrence] There’s the Warner Bros. deal. Once these two companies figure this out, I think people will get what they want. I think this will happen.
As for whether he’s eager to reprise his role as Dr. John Michael “JD” Dorrian, Braff quipped: “Are you kidding me?”
“This will be fun [with] All my favorite people. We all still hang out. A lot of people who do long shows say this, but it’s true,” he insists. “I’ve just been on vacation with Sarah Chalke…I’m going to the beach with Bill next weekend. We’re all friends.
This proved to be true when Braff reunited with him ScrubDonald Faison to compete in celebrity version of competition Who wants to be a millionaire?
“It’s so funny. Obviously, I won’t spoil it, but we were laughing our heads off,” Braff said of he and Faison’s upcoming episode of the competition series, which will air on August 14. .
Braff was also part of another iconic project, his film garden statewill celebrate its 20th anniversary on August 20.
“It definitely changed my life because every day there are people saying it really made a difference to them. It means a lot to me,” he said. “I didn’t expect people to still be talking about it 20 years later.”
Braff, who stars in the indie film alongside Natalie Portman, teased that the cast has something lined up to commemorate the film’s huge milestone.
“We’re going to do something very special. I’m going to give you another exclusive. We’re going to do something very special for the soundtrack early next year, so stay tuned,” he said. “Natalie may or may not be persuaded to participate in this activity.”
Now, fans can see Braff bad monkeythe Apple TV+ series with which he reunites Scrub Creator Bill Lawrence serves as the show’s executive producer.
“He’s just a great storyteller. I don’t know anyone like him. He also manages to produce five shows at once, and he’s just the nicest guy,” Braff said of Lawrence. “I don’t know. I’m just lucky to have my wagon hitched to him.”
