The Browns are doing their best to move on.
On Tuesday, TLC released the trailer for its highly anticipated next season sister wives. The trailer starts off strong; Meri Brown Officially announced his marriage to her Kody Brown it’s over, Christine Brown Introducing her boyfriend and now husband David Woolley to the world, Janelle Brown trying to give up the land she shared with Cody, and Robin Brown Trying to come to terms with the new reality that she no longer has a sister wife.
Cody also struggled to cope with all the changes, declaring, “What did I do to deserve this? What did I do wrong?”
Communication between Kody and his ex-wife remains ice cold. Jenelle was unable to contact him to sell their shared property and told Kristen that she might have to “get a lawyer” if her estranged husband continued to neglect her.
Meri also struggled to express her feelings and reasons for her breakup with Cody, who claimed he didn’t love her at the beginning of their relationship nearly three decades ago.
Robin was the only wife who chose to be with Cody, and the two are now living life as a monogamous couple.
“I felt like an idiot who was left behind,” Robin said.
Although Kody likened the family dynamic to “an all-out civil war,” they got together to celebrate, and Kristen formally introduced David to everyone.
Taking a page from Christine’s book, Meri has a mission. “I need to find a man,” she shouted.
Kody and Jenelle sat down to talk, and he told her that he felt like they could make things work, but that she had made up her mind and their relationship had been damaged.
“We had a lot of conversations and I said, ‘It’s done, we’re done. We’re incompatible,'” she said.
In the midst of everything that’s going on, Cody has a message for women who don’t believe he loves them. “If I don’t love you, blame yourself, okay,” he said.
