LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation has released some numbers after rock legends the Red Hot Chili Peppers completed their “Love Infinite Tour,” ranking them among the top three tours of the 2020s in ticket sales and attendance.
According to Live Nation, the band performed 86 headline shows in 20 countries to 3.4 million fans during their multi-year journey.
The tour kicks off in 2022 and includes RHCP’s first stadium headliners in Europe, the UK and North America, as well as stops in Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, and the Pacific Rim.
Tour special guests include A$AP Rocky, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Beck, City and Color, DOMi & JD BECK, HAIM, Ice Cube, Iggy Pop, Ken Carson, King Princess, Otoboke Beaver, Post Malone, Seun Kuti & Fela’s Egypt 80, St. Vincent, The Mars Volta, The Roots, The Strokes, Thundercat, Wand and more.
Earlier this year, the tour returned to North America for a final round of 18 shows, concluding on July 30 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in St. Louis.
Additionally, RHCP performed at the Closing Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games when the 2028 Olympic flag was handed over to Los Angeles.
