Travis Scott was arrested in Paris after fighting with his bodyguard, according to French police.
Kylie Jenner’s father-of-two allegedly attacked a security guard who was trying to disperse two people at the George V Hotel, according to French authorities.
“I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, the police were called to the Hotel George V and arrested the rapper nicknamed Travis Scott,” the Paris prosecutor said in a statement to NBC News singer, charged with assaulting a security guard.
Multiple media outlets reported the same story, adding:
“Security intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguards. The Paris prosecutor’s office has handed the case over to the first district of the judicial police.
Travis’ team has yet to issue a statement regarding the arrest, and as far as we know, he remains in custody.
The day before, the rapper, whose real name is Jacques Belmont Webster II, was photographed attending the basketball semifinals between the United States and Serbia.

Arrested for second time this summer
During the summer of 2024, Travis spent a lot of time with the police.
On June 20, Travis was arrested in Miami on charges of drunkenness and trespassing on property after warning.
Reports at the time said he was drunk and screaming with another yacht owner at the marina.

“Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding,” his attorney, Bradford Cohen, said in a statement at the time. “There was absolutely no physical altercation and we thank the authorities for working with us to resolve the situation quickly and amicably.”
While Travis was booked and his photo was released during his arrest, we have yet to receive official booking photos of Travis from Paris.
