(Hype Bot) – Creators who have been “warned” for violations have a new way out of “Facebook jail” thanks to Facebook’s new warning removal program.
“Facebook jail” is when the ability to post and interact is restricted or locked after a violation. Last year, Facebook added more warnings before penalties, which can now be removed.
Facebook warning for removal
When creators first inadvertently or intentionally violate Facebook and Meta’s community standards, they will have the opportunity to complete in-app education about their policy violation.
Once completed, the warning will be removed from their record and they can repeat the process if they avoid another violation within a year.
However, if they violate the policy again within a year, they will receive another warning and the warning will no longer be removed. If repeated, it may result in account downgrade and ultimately permanent lockout.
This week, creators using Pro Mode can remove Facebook warnings. It will be rolled out widely in the coming months.
