Peruvian surfer as athletes in Olympic Village (allegedly) sift food for bugs Luca Messinas Said everything went well in Tahiti… tell TMZ Sports He only had one complaint about their setup!
We caught up with the Peruvian surfer at LAX this week…shortly after he competes in the surfing portion of the 2024 Olympics. Naturally, we had to ask the web for all the information we could about Surfers HQ. luxury cruise In the South Pacific…sounds much nicer than what the Parisians say.
“We have great food, we have table tennis, there’s a lot to do there,” Messinas said. “We were allowed to get off the boat and surf whenever we wanted. Regardless, it was fun.”
Many contestants complained about conditions in France…complaining about the lack of air conditioning, small rooms and lack of bathroom – One gold medalist even chose sleep outside.
Messinas said his only complaint was that, considering they were on a boat, they would have some movement due to the wind – so it wasn’t the best way to capture Z.
Surfers do have good things to say about the beds on the boat…saying they are sturdy too. Although he didn’t specify whether they were like “Anti-sex” beds in Paris – he did claim there weren’t any real romantic hookups on board.
“Maybe one,” he said with a smile.
Playing table tennis – and of course watching the Olympics – sounds like a big part of the experience… Messinas had no hesitation in calling the Peruvian team the best team on board.
“I’m pretty sure we [the best]Peruvian,” he said. “As surfers, every time we travel, we play ping pong. It doesn’t surprise me, [but] All teams are very good at this.
Messinas didn’t get on the podium…but clearly that didn’t take away from his Olympic experience. The question now is…can Los Angeles achieve its optimal experience in 2028?
