Taylor Swift Never, never, never be here Deadpool and Wolverine.
That’s according to director Shawn Levy, who opened up about the rumors in a new interview. entertainment weekly.
“It was never a conversation. It was never even the seed of a discussion,” Levy admits. “Obviously, Ryan and Blake, and myself, to a lesser extent, have their own relationships with Taylor in real life. But, yes, these rumors are big and a little confusing, but nothing I say or say Nothing will do to keep them quiet until this movie comes out.
Swift has long been rumored to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe – in recent years, most speculation has centered on X-Men character Dazzler. Facts about X-Men characters appearing Deadpool and Wolverine Also helped fans prove that she either appears as Dazzler or Ms. Deadpoolas previewed in the trailer.
“I definitely had moments where I was worried that I would let people down when they realized Taylor’s Dazzler wasn’t in the movie,” Levy admits. “But the internet was out of control and rumors spread like wildfire.”
Swift’s long-term friendship with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively – who eventually voiced Ms. Deadpool – also fueled the rumors, as did the couple, Levy and Hugh Jackman All attended a Kansas City Chiefs football game with Swift last fall.
Levy, for his part, said he likes all the rumors because they help him cast further doubt on real-life celebrity cameos appearing in the film — e.g. Jennifer Garner As Erica and Channing Tatum As a start.
Actually, the director told ET Last November, he discovered a number of different Deadpool 3 Rumors “are hilarious and very useful because now people can’t tell what’s true and what’s false. So I can sit back and let the waves of accuracy and falsehood wash over me.”
