Spoiler alert! If you haven’t seen the Season 2 finale, don’t read Dragon House.
Dragon House Season two ended on Sunday, and the final episode left fans with a lot of questions about what happens next.
While many fans believe the finale will feature Queen Rhaenyra (Emma Darcy) and the Black Team take back King’s Landing in an epic battle to reclaim the throne, and the episode actually ends before the battle begins, meaning it will likely kick off the show’s upcoming third season.
After assembling her team of dragoons – including newly claimed Hull civilians Adam (Clinton Liberty), Hugh Harmer (Kieran Bo) and Ulf White (Tom Bennett) ) – After coming to fight Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell) and the Greens, Rhaenyra enlists the help of her Hand, Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) ), she also prepared attacks on land and sea.
This would be a powerful counterattack for Aemond, especially without the support of his mother Queen Alison (Olivia Cooke), who fled King’s Landing to secretly support Rhaenyra; his sister Helena (Fea Saban), who warned him she knew of his violent attacks on his brother and king Aegon II (Tom) After the truth was revealed, his imminent demise was predicted.
Elsewhere, a mortally wounded Aegon disguises himself and flees the city with Lord Larys Strong (Matthew Needham), hoping to survive long enough to reclaim the throne. Meanwhile, Daemon (Matt Smith) finally gives up on his delusions and agrees to surrender to Rhaenyra.
The episode ends with Rhaenyra and Allison both staring at the coming battle. Fans of the series — some of whom were expecting a season finale filled with epic battles and shocking deaths — had a lot to say about the events of the finale on social media.
Fans were also lost earlier in the episode when Daemon’s vision had him flashing back to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and her three dragons – maybe It’s implied that she is the true fulfillment of their family’s prophecy.
Dragon House Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Max. The show will return for a third season.
