American football player Ilona Maher Taking some time out of a busy day to take a photo with a fan enjoying the view of the Paris Olympics…the fan was none other than the GOAT, tom brady!
The meeting took place on Sunday night in Paris, where the pair were watching a beach volleyball match at the Eiffel Tower Stadium. Maher, who helped the U.S. win its first Olympic rugby medal, posted a behind-the-scenes video on her Instagram, joking that Brady was someone she wanted to take a picture with.

It’s unclear what the two athletes talked about, but the two expressed support for Team USA athletes throughout the game, which Brady also attended Simone BilesMonday’s gymnastics performance.

While she’s been recognized for her work on the court… it’s her work on social media that’s also made her famous.
As fame grew, so did the trolls. One fan commented about her body mass index and was quickly shut down.
“My body mass index is literally 30 and I’m considered overweight. But unfortunately, I’m going to the Olympics and you’re not,” Maher said.
As the competition continues until August 11, Maher will have more opportunities to meet the stars in Paris.
