LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Alternative rock band Garbage have announced the cancellation of all remaining shows in 2024 as frontman Shirley Manson recovers from injury.
“It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of all remaining dates for the remainder of the year as Shirley suffered an injury during our recent European tour which required surgery and rehabilitation to correct.
This was not a decision we made lightly, and we offer our sincere apologies to our wonderful fans and supporters. We look forward to playing for you again in 2025. Be kind.
The band did not elaborate on the nature of Manson’s injuries.
Affected shows include the Hera Festival on August 24 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, the HF Stival on September 21 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., and the Ohana Festival on September 27 in Dana Point, California.
Ohana organizers have announced that Devo will fill a new vacancy in their lineup, while Liz Phair has been added to the HFStival roster.
