Imane Khelif burst into tears after winning, advancing to the semi-finals despite millions of people sending cruel, hateful comments towards her online. Her strength and resilience are incredible.

Of course…it’s widely reported that Khalif has XY chromosomes, but according to International Olympic Committee rules, she is still biologically female and is allowed to compete.

However, she has thrown some ferocious punches in the competition so far…and, the Italian Angela Carlini To leave a race Less than a minute after fighting Imane.

Kalini has since apologized for refusing to shake Khalif’s hand… but Hamori apparently posted multiple photos on Instagram this week of attacking Imane, including one that suggested she was some kind of beast.
Now, Khalif is about to reach the semi-finals…but, we don’t think the controversy is over just yet.
