Following the sell-out world premiere of the 2022 Adelaide Fringe Festival, award-winning Motus Collective, founded by Felicity Boyd and Zoe Gay, presents leftovers Head to the Space Theater at the Adelaide Festival Center this October, tickets on sale now.
leftovers is a contemporary dance performance that interweaves dynamic movement with visual art, featuring several memorable seven-foot sculptures created by Adelaide-based multidisciplinary sculpture artist Nicholas Hanish.
The show explores themes of identity, memory and transformation through Zoe Gay’s masterful choreography with four dancers and a captivating score by award-winning Adelaide sound designer Alix Kuijpers. It delves into what it means to be human, questioning the elements that shape a person and what they leave behind.
Motus Collective co-founder Felicity Boyd said: “Motus Collective is extremely proud to be showcasing our first major work at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
