“It’s normal to make mistakes in auditions, and it shows character to be able to make them and move on without letting them dictate your entire audition performance,” Pokconi and Barnes explain.

“Focus on the task or exercise, don’t worry about what’s going to happen next, and enjoy learning new things and meeting new people,” Currie said. “You may feel nervous, but remember that excitement can feel the same way. Try to enjoy the feeling and take advantage of the extra energy!
Preparation is important.
“Get a good night’s rest, eat well, and be prepared the night before. Stay hydrated and have small snacks throughout the day,” adds Currie.
