Cardi B She’s not letting her marital woes or buns in the oven get in the way of her music, as her album plans for this year are still on track… TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge of the situation tell TMZ… Cardi’s big news on Thursday — and it’s the facts She is pregnant (again) in fact she is heading for divorce There’s no way she’s delaying the release of her new album (again) – we’re told it’s still due out later in 2024.
Thing is… we’re told Cardi is more than three-quarters of the way through the project – which is interesting because it means there’s still work to be done.
Of course, there’s still five months to go before it’s done — but considering Cardi is pregnant now and may be giving birth soon… it begs the question: When exactly will she find the time to finish the rest? 25%.
Still…our source assures us she’s determined to give it up this year — which fits with how she’s handled pregnancies in the past. As far as we know… Cardi has I even went on stage with my baby in my belly before. …So going into the studio under the same circumstances was a walk in the park.
We also learned a lot more – including who else might appear on the record.
Our sources tell us she’s recorded a ton of music in the six years since her first album, Invasion of Privacy…and it probably goes without saying that she’s collaborated with a lot of artists on features.
We’re told the project will feature a number of artists – but our sources wouldn’t say if offset It’s one of them. Considering she’s divorcing this guy… we wouldn’t be surprised if he was cut.
As for whether Cardi plans to record newer music about what she’s going through right now – it’s unclear… but again, she still has time.
Her new album is highly anticipated…like we said, it’s been a while since she dropped a full-length project like this – aside from a few singles, the public is hungry for a proper CB album.
From the sound of it…she’ll give her fans everything they have, come hell or high water—even water breaks. 😅
