Will LeBron James’ son miss the Paris Olympics? Why?
As the 2024 Paris Olympics kick off, all-star athletes from around the world will showcase their athletic talents.
Among them is basketball legend LeBron James. Yes – while basketball isn’t the focus of the Summer Olympics, it has been an official Olympic sport since 1936.
Although James’ goal is to win another gold medal, where is Bronny?

Bronny James, 19, has been playing in the NBA Summer League.
On Thursday, July 18, he scored 13 points in the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
His famous father, LeBron James, traveled overseas with Team USA. However, he was able to watch the game despite the 11-hour time difference.
“As a family, obviously we’re just proud of the stage he’s in right now,” LeBron said the next day. New York Times reported.
“It doesn’t matter if he plays well, it doesn’t matter if he doesn’t play well,” he stressed.
This could be a hint that Bronny played some weaker games earlier in Summer League.
Bronny James’ father says he’ll show improvement with practice
“I mean, he’s 19 years old, so he’s got a lot of room to grow,” LeBron affirmed. “He still has a lot to learn, but the best part is, he just keeps his head down and stays focused.”
The basketball legend then predicted: “So as he continues to work hard and continues to get better and better, the best will continue to come out.”
With some exceptions, that’s how things tend to go. Bronny still has a lot to prove if he wants to step out of LeBron’s shadow, but his father clearly believes in him.
Of course, Bronny’s basketball career meant he couldn’t cheer for his father in person.
(To be fair, LeBron means the same thing. If the timing is right, he can watch his son from a distance.)
LeBron James will represent the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He is an absolute legend in basketball.

Bronny James is focused on his career, which is obviously what his family and loved ones want.
Meanwhile, LeBron is aiming for his third gold medal. This will be his fourth Olympic appearance.
He’s certainly not the youngest Olympian in the game, but he has the athleticism and experience to help his team win.
