President BidenThe vice president, now the Democratic frontrunner after Joe dropped out, kicked off her campaign Tuesday with a stop in Milwaukee … culminating in her taking to the podium to deliver a rousing speech to a large crowd.
As you can see… KH’s comments were sharp, precise and focused – a stark contrast to some of Joe’s recent public appearances and a good reminder of why JB is out of the race.
As far as substance goes… Kamala goes straight to Donald Trump and Republicans — think they want to take America backwards with extreme policies… while she says she wants to move America forward with a progressive vision that works for everyone.
Kamala touched on some of her own policy points… saying that as president, she will work to ensure every American can vote, push for universal background checks and an assault rifle ban to reduce gun violence… and push back against opposition to Trump’s Abortion platform.
She ended by asking people what kind of country they want to live in in the future – and based on the crowd’s reaction… it sounded like they were all on board with her campaign.
By the way, in case you didn’t hear… The Harris campaign said it raised more than $81 million in the 24 hours after President Biden announced his support for her.
It feels like… things are looking up and there’s definitely going to be a sea change in the political arena.
