All right.
On Sunday afternoon, President Joe Biden announced that he would not seek re-election in the Oval Office, issuing a statement confirming him:
First, withdraw from the general election.
Second, support Vice President Kamala Harris for the job she has held for the past three-plus years.
“We have made tremendous progress as a country over the past three and a half years. Today, the United States has the strongest economy in the world,” Biden tweeted.
“We have made historic investments in rebuilding our country, lowering prescription drug costs for seniors and providing affordable health care to record numbers of Americans.
“We provided much-needed care to one million veterans exposed to toxic substances. Passed the first gun safety law in 30 years.
“Appointed the first African American woman to the Supreme Court. And passed the most important climate legislation in the history of the world.
Before dropping a political bombshell, Biden continued:
“America has never been in a better position to lead.
“I know that without you, the American people, none of this would be possible. Together we have overcome a once-in-a-century pandemic and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.
“We have protected and preserved our democracy, and we have revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the world.”
My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all of my energy on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. As the 2020 party nominee, one of my first decisions was to choose Kamala Harris as my vice president. This is as good as it gets… pic.twitter.com/x8DnvuImJV

The president is under intense pressure to reconsider his future after a disastrous debate with Donald Trump last month…in which he often appeared confused on stage, in which he He often loses his train of thought.
Top Democrats have begun calling on Biden to drop out of the presidential race after multiple public appearances raising questions about his mental competency.
He has done so now.
“Serving as your President has been the greatest honor of my life,” Joe Biden wrote.
“While I intend to seek re-election, I believe it is in the best interests of my party and the country that I resign and focus on my duties as president for the remainder of my term.”
Biden later said he would “deliver details of my decision to the nation later this week,” noting, “Now, let me express my deepest gratitude to all of those who worked so hard to get me re-elected.
“I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an outstanding partner in all of these efforts. Let me express my sincere gratitude to the American people for the trust and trust they have placed in me.
“I believe today what I have always believed: There is nothing America can’t do if we work together. We just have to remember that we are the United States of America.
Shortly after the article shocked the free world, Biden became all but certain that Harris would be named the Democratic nominee at the party convention in mid-August.
“As the 2020 party nominee, my first decision was to choose Kamala Harris as my vice president,” he said.
“This is the best decision I have ever made. Today, I want to express my full support and endorsement of Kamala as our party’s nominee this year. Democrats – it’s time to come together and defeat Trump.”
“Let’s get to work.”
So far, Trump has attacked Biden on social media, but his vice presidential partner J.D. Vance has only said the following:
Joe Biden is the worst president in my lifetime, and Kamala Harris has been with him every step of the way.
Over the past four years, she has co-signed Biden’s open borders and green-hoax policies that have driven up the cost of housing and groceries.
All of these failures are her responsibility, and she has lied about Biden’s mental capacity for nearly four years — saddled the country with a president who is not up to the job.
President Trump and I are ready to save America, no matter who is at the top of the Democratic ticket. bring it on.
For the first time in a long time, Democrats are now voicing the same sentiment. This is so Like it very much.
