Bella Hadidis gearing up for a legal battle with Adidas… sources revealed that she has hired legal counsel to fight the sportswear giant.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ …Bella hired a lawyer to take action against Adidas for its lack of public responsibility — essentially saying that she believed Adidas had spearheaded a cruel and destructive campaign.
Our source says she’s upset the company has launched a campaign linking anyone to tragedies like the Munich massacre at the 1972 Olympics… an act of violence that contrasts with BH’s own views .
BTW… we’re told Bella is still under contract with Adidas, despite earlier reports that the company fired her.
ICYMI…adidas Let Bella face it A retro sneaker design is inspired by the 1972 Munich Olympics, when 11 Israeli athletes were taken hostage and murdered by terrorists.
Adidas apologized and said it did not intend to make a statement in a manner related to a historical tragedy. Earlier today, adidas announced that it was revamping its advertising campaign.
It sounds like Bella told those around her that she had no idea what she was getting into when she signed…and, she holds Adidas responsible.
We’ve reached out to adidas…so far, no response.
