When Jessa Duggar married Ben Seewald in 2014, it seemed like a match made in heaven.
Ben and Jessa share similar views, and most importantly, they have the approval of her overbearing father.
Jim Bob Duggar made all the rules in his house and his daughters were not allowed to date anyone without his approval.
In fact, potential suitors must fill out a 45-page questionnaire before dating Duggar’s daughter.
Ben was the second person to pass all of Jim Bob’s tests.

Are Ben and Jessa still married?

Some observers believe she wasn’t initially excited about him, and her opinion has soured further in recent years.

Jessa and Ben Now: The Parent Trap?
The truth is, Jessa and Ben are still together, and more importantly, they’ve just expanded their family.
The couple welcomed George Augustine Seewald on December 19, 2023.
So, if they’re unhappy, are they going to stick it out for the sake of their kids? If they jumped ship, it would certainly cause huge disruption to their lives.
But again, commenters said things would have been very different if the two had had a normal dating life before getting together.

But if by “community” they mean the IBLP — also known as the Institute for Basic Life Principles, a non-denominational Christian fundamentalist organization — then they need to change with the times.
Jessa revealed in a September 2023 Instagram Story Q&A that she, Ben, and their children “do not” belong to IBLP.
Additionally, Ben currently serves as the pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Arkansas.
Although Jessa is no longer part of the “community,” she is still one of the children who has a close relationship with her parents. On Mother’s Day 2024, she even penned a heartwarming message to her mother, Michelle Duggar, to commemorate how “lucky” she is.
So if the rumors are true and another season of their reality show is finally in production, we bet you’ll see Jessa on the show. But Ben? Well, only time will tell.
