Prince William is reportedly taking a stand.
This was bad news for his brother.
Anyone with a pulse knows by now that William and Prince Harry don’t get along well…the future king’s younger brother gave up royal duties more than four years ago.
According to the New York Post, the brothers have not spoken for a year.
However, there have been recent rumors that Harry wants to return to the family in some capacity, which some may see as a welcome development following King Charles and Kate Middleton Both Being diagnosed with cancer.
William might need help, right?
Perhaps there will be a positive outcome to these unfortunate developments? Does this mean William and Harry can finally reconcile?
No, royal commentator Jenny Bond tells us, okay! Magazine this week. This is a wrong assumption.
“William has always been a man of strong character,” Pound told OK! The magazine added that William has no interest in bringing Harry into contact with the royal family again.
“Obviously, as heir to the throne, his words carry a lot of weight within the family and I think he’s really prepared to take a tough stance on a lot of issues, including Harry.”
Earlier this month, a former butler who worked at Kensington Palace said it was unlikely Prince Harry would rebuild the bridges he burned years ago in such a public way.
This sentiment seems to be echoed not only by the quote above, but also by the person Page Six deemed an “expert” just days ago.
“It is well known within the family that Prince William has absolutely banned Harry from returning to his former royal family in any way, shape or form,” Hilary Fortewitch told Fox News this month.
Fordwich stressed that if King Charles opened the door, perhaps William would acquiesce to his powerful father.
But what about after Harry’s biography? In it, he berates his family for being spoiled, racist, and gives examples of all the ways the family abuses their power, with William generally sucking the brothers?
“To this day, after the release of ‘Backup’ and the Netflix series, and after everything Harry said, did and didn’t do, Prince William steadfastly refuses to even speak to his brother,” Fortewitch said.
