Ilya Krocav — Shifty’s childhood friend — told TMZ … they will be hosting a celebration for friends and family in Los Angeles sometime in the next month or so … but it will also be open to fans.
They are still scouting venues and looking for somewhere to accommodate hundreds of people. We’re told they haven’t finalized what the musical tribute will be yet.
Krokav tells us that artists who worked with Shifty during his lifetime, whose real name is Seth Binzer, will be performing…and organizers are also coordinating with the Crazy Town singer’s legendary graffiti artist friends to put up murals of Shifty around Los Angeles. Gillis.
