The biggest names in sports and entertainment came together Thursday night to honor the year’s best, most influential and inspirational athletes 2024 ESPY Awards.
Once again this year at the massive show at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, sports stars include Olympian Simone Bilesbasketball stars Jaylen Brown and Kaitlin Clark, tennis professional Coco Gauff, Super Bowl Champion Patrick Mahomes and MLB’s Shohei Ohtani are among the top nominees for this year’s big awards show.
In addition, this year’s ESPYs also presented the traditional triple honors to special honorees, including the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, Jimmy V. Perseverance Award and Pat Tillman Service Award.
Former NFL pro Steve Gleason was awarded the Arthur Ashe Award for his work raising awareness about ALS, while University of South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley was awarded the Jimmy V Award . at the same time, Prince Harry wins Pat Tillman Award In recognition of his efforts to help veterans through the Invincible Games movement.
