We all know how Meri Brown has been doing personally lately: She’s on a roll.
veteran sister wives The actor split from spiritual spouse Kody Brown in January 2023 and has since been trying to tell people she’s excited about the future.
Meri might say that she is forging a new path.
As part of that, Meri moved back to her native Utah shortly after her marriage ended, according to reports Enter Lizzie’s Heritage Inn was the bed and breakfast she ran there for many years.
However, here’s the thing:

It turns out there are interesting rumors about the house she lives in and rents out. Creepy, scary rumour!
“Guests told Meri and manager Jenn that the hotel was haunted,” a source told sun late last week.
“Like, they’d hear weird noises and claim there were ghosts living there.
“It’s not like anything bad is going to happen – it’s just a weird thing and a coincidence that dead people are on the walls.”
Brown opened Lizzie’s Heritage Inn in December 2017; it was her former home that had been inhabited by four generations before being sold in the 1980s.
The dead mentioned above include portraits of some former innkeepers, including Meri’s mother Bonnie, who died in 2021, who helped run the inn.
“It’s actually creepy to sleep in one of the rooms with a picture of a deceased person staring at you from the wall,” wrote sun.
Meri scoffs at haunted house rumors
Now, Cody’s ex-wife is well aware of the rumors surrounding her hotel, but sadly, she can’t say she’s seen a ghost herself.
“I’ve heard we have friendly family member ghosts, even though I’ve never seen them,” she admitted in an episode of the show.
In October 2023, Janelle Brown remained, and despite concerns about ghosts within the walls, she was not visited.
“This is an amazing place. I’m so glad we stayed. For the record, I didn’t see a ghost. sister wives.
A year later, however, Meri seems to have finally encountered a famous ghoul living in her hotel.
Meri posted the photo above of her and her friend Jen enjoying a night out at home when an intruder interrupted their night.
Amid cobwebs and spiders for Halloween, a young girl in a white dress stares blankly into the camera, covering her face with her hair and photobombing the pair.
“Watch out for the imps and goblins that break into the @lizzies_heritage_inn,” Meri wrote in the post.
Of course, we’re kidding. This is just Meri’s interest in ghost stories – something all owners should do! Who doesn’t love haunted houses!
Meri has done well for herself
Despite being allegedly haunted, the hotel has a rating of 4.5 stars on Google and 5 stars on Tripadvisor and Yelp.
That’s good, because Meri relies on the hotel to help her navigate this new chapter in her life. In 2024, she launched a lifestyle brand called Worthy Up with the hotel.
It’s still in development, as is next season sister-in-lawsShe will appear in it, and perhaps a memoir detailing her life with the Brown family.
All in all, Meri is doing pretty well!
