The program, called “Platoon Songs,” is designed to make it easy for creators, providing them with fair terms and strong support. Platoon Songs offers a unique approach to songwriter compensation and rights. Songwriters who participated in the sessions and ultimately completed the songs were paid for their work, and the deals included a share of mastering royalties on recordings released by the platoon. This structure ensures songwriters are paid fairly and is in line with recent industry calls for greater recognition of their contributions. One of the standout features of Platoon Songs is that it offers songwriters a six-month subscription period. This period allows writers the flexibility to preserve their work and gives artists the opportunity to record and release songs. It also gives Platoon access to publishing rights to these works for the first time, fostering closer collaboration between the company and songwriters.
The program is designed to foster deeper connections within the songwriting community and more closely align songwriters with Platoon’s roster. Working closely with the publishing, creative and marketing teams, Platoon created a comprehensive campaign for the track’s public release. This holistic approach ensures each song is supported from creation to release, providing a powerful platform for songwriters to thrive.

The first album under Platoon Songs is a song called “Nina”, composed by emia and Loulou, It will be launched on July 12th. LouLou is an experienced producer and writer who has worked with many dance artists to create custom tracks for brands and sporting events.
