(VIP booking) – Friction and Atomic Soul Booking founder Peer Osmundsvaag has announced his departure from Nordic live entertainment giant All Things Live (ATL) after five years in the role, IQ reports.
Osmundsvaag’s business is one of six Scandinavian companies founded in 2019 by Dutch Waterland Private Equity.
“I’ve spent five wonderful years with the amazing team at All Things Live and have many wonderful memories, but the restless soul inside me felt it was time for a new adventure,” Osmundsvaag told IQ.
After leaving ATL, Osmundsvaag plans to focus on his music festival, Oslo’s Piknik i Parken (Picnic in the Park) – also known as PiPFest – which he founded in 2014.Such as Stormzy, Massive Attack, Tom Odell, and queen.
“I’m looking forward to getting hands-on, getting back in the trenches and focusing on growing the festival,” Osmundswager said. “This is a town center event based on the overall experience rather than being driven purely by headlines and we’ve seen lovely organic growth which has surprised us. Turnout was up 30% this year compared to 2023, Turnout is at an all-time high. The cap is currently 8,000, but next year we will expand to Phase 3 where the cap will be 12,000.
