Marlon Wayans let the robbers who raided his Los Angeles-area home last week know he wasn’t a target because he “didn’t own anything” — and this comes after TMZ broke the story about the break-in .
The actor broke his silence about the robbery on his IG… telling his concerned followers in the video that the thief didn’t really get much because he didn’t have a lot of valuables.
Malone explained, “The most valuable thing in my house is my house. So, unless you’re going to put that thing in a truck and tow it away, then, yeah, man, you’re doing great, but I don’t own it.” **.
He let it be known he’s not a flashy guy and reiterated the same sentiment in his caption… He said he “lives a simple life with his two cats and a 1994 Range Rover, The car needs to be started to be stolen because it has a dead battery.
He issued one last warning to future robbers… saying, “I repeat, I don’t have anything valuable. I don’t have a bunch of cash or jewelry. Please choose a better one 🎯 Thank you and love you ….still”.
As we originally reported, Malone wasn’t home when two brazen thieves smashed the back window and entered the house, but his brother Keenan Ivory Wayans was.
Keenan did not encounter the robbers. Police have launched an investigation but no arrests have been made so far.
