No, that’s not our impression of the Fourth of July fireworks.
Instead, this is our way of introducing the fact that Lindsay Hubbard just dropped an absolute bombshell.
We’ll let the stars of Bravo’s hit reality show Summer House continue from here, okay?
“Trigger warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! We’re pregnant!
“I firmly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! When I felt it, I took a @clearblue early digital pregnancy test and got clear results, in other words, making the next steps so much easier .
“My boyfriend and I are so excited to welcome our little #HubbCub in holiday season 2024!!”
Of course, this is very exciting for Hubbard and all her fans.
It does, however, become a bit of a mystery because about a year ago, Hubbard called to cancel her engagement to fellow actor Carl Radke.
Since then, she has not revealed the identity of her boyfriend, which of course is largely her prerogative. Now it’s just people talking.
“We have a very sweet, caring and loving relationship that I really cherish,” Hubbard told Entertainment Tonight in June, noting that she wouldn’t be rushing to get married now while acknowledging that she was One love affair didn’t work out.
“Considering all my past timelines were blowing up in my face, I got rid of them all.”
Hubbard also opened up about the ongoing relationship during the Summer House Season 8 reunion last month, revealing she was dating “a wonderful man,” saying on the show:
“We actually went on a few dates three and a half years ago.
“It was terrible timing for him and me, and then he showed up out of the blue in December and we started dating in January. I would say it was heading in a very serious direction. He gave me a huge support.
Radke proposed to Hubbard during the show’s seventh season, and the two were scheduled to marry in Mexico in November 2023.
However, weeks before the wedding, Radke sent a letter to family and friends that read, in part:
“Words cannot express how difficult the past two weeks have been for Lindsay and me.
“We deeply apologize to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We have had to try to figure out exactly how this all happened before we had the opportunity to decide a path forward between us.
Hubbard, who had previously suffered a miscarriage, was open about her desire to start a family.
“I’ve been thinking and talking about freezing my eggs for a while,” she said in a Summer House season 6 episode, adding at the time:
“I settled into the past, I forced things because I went against my own schedule.
“If I could stop my body clock and eliminate it as part of my partner selection process, then maybe I could find someone who is truly right for me.”
It seems she has done so! We are so happy for Lindsay Hubbard!
