Is Luke Bryan leaving? American idol Next?
Fans of the reality show are starting to worry that the end of the show is beginning Idol Started.
Following Katy Perry’s surprise exit earlier this year, the world turned its attention to the King of Country sitting next to her.
Is Luke Bryan leaving the show soon? More importantly, would this be his choice?

Luke Bryan joins American idol Serving as a judge on Season 16, alongside Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.
The show returned to air after its “farewell” season after fans requested a return.
The trio are beloved by fans and considered by many to be the perfect balance of judges.
But in February 2024, Katy Perry announced that the next season of the show would be her last. The explosive announcement was apparently made without any warning to Luke and Lionel.
A few months later, entertainment tonight Interviewed Luke, he admitted that he doesn’t know his fate on the show. In fact, no one knows who will be back next season!
“It’s fun,” the country star said IdolChanges for the upcoming season. “Disney has been very tight-lipped about me, Lionel and Lionel. [host] Ryan [Seacrest]. We haven’t heard yet about who will be back and whether Lionel and I will be back. I think Disney is just trying to figure out what they want to do and we’re just sitting back and watching until they make a decision.
Luke Bryan may actually want to quit ‘Idol’
After news of Katie’s departure broke, fans began circulating another interview with Luke entertainment tonight June 2023.
He admits he doesn’t have a good work-life balance, especially when it comes to spending time with his wife and children.
“I didn’t really balance it well this year,” he shared. Speaking of his wife, he added, “I thought, ‘Baby, it’s been a rough year, let’s get through it and then we’ll find a boat and go to the Caribbean or something.'”
With rumors behind Katie’s exit suggesting that she hopes to have another child with Orlando Bloom, some are wondering if the same can be said for Luke.
So, maybe he’s ready to leave the show and spend more time with his family? If it’s a good thing for him, then we want him to get it too!
When asked about it in 2023, he admitted that his plan was to remain “really active” in his career until 2024.
But beyond that? They say all good things must come to an end!
What about Lionel Richie and Ryan Seacrest?
Again, no official announcement has been made about anyone leaving the show.
Heck, ABC hasn’t even confirmed that Katie is leaving — though it’s pretty much a sure thing since she announced the news herself.
Despite Luke’s speculation, we think Lionel is pretty safe. As for Ryan Seacrest, with his new gig hosting Wheel of Fortune on the horizon, there’s some noise suggesting he may be leaving American idol By the fall we can focus on solving this problem.
Then again, this guy has been in two TV shows at the same time before, and they were on different coasts! (rest in peace Kelly and Ryan…)
There is a chance, as long as Idol Now airing, Seacrest will be at the helm!
As for Luke, we hope that whatever happens, it’s the right thing for everyone involved!
