Sad and shocking news from the world of reality TV this week:
KeKe Jabbar, a main cast member of the OWN series Love & Marriage: Huntsville, has reportedly passed away.
She is 42 years old.
Marcella Speaks – who Jabbar feuded with on the latest season of the hit show – confirmed the news of Jabbar’s death on Tuesday, July 2, after receiving a statement from his family.
She read the message during a YouTube live broadcast, in which she said Kareem “passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love.”
The cause of death was not disclosed.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Koko. She passed away peacefully at home, filled with love.
“She was a mother, a sister, and a wonderful friend full of life, love, and laughter. We will miss her dearly, and we ask for respect and privacy at this time as we deal with the sadness of this great loss. .

Earlier this year, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar faced accusations of using hard drugs and even using another person’s urine to pass a drug test.
“I’ve never taken any hard drugs,” Kareem said when questioned by showrunner Carlos King on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville Reunion.” She said she was sober, adding on the show:
“I’ve never done anything, heroin, cocaine, crack… I’ve never done anything like that.”
On Tuesday, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s cousin and reality show costar LaTisha Scott shared a post on Instagram asking for privacy amid the horrific news.
“At this time, as we deal with this huge loss, we ask for respect and privacy during this time of grief! This has been so difficult for our family!!” she wrote.
After news of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s death spread online, fans expressed their condolences in the comments section of her last Instagram post… which was posted on May 26.

Jabbar is survived by her three children, her husband, her parents and cousins.
In late May, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar shared a number of photos celebrating her oldest son Amar’e’s high school graduation; she didn’t post anything on social media in June.
