James and Metalia’s trip to the airport was a little bumpy.
In an exclusive clip from Monday 90 day fiancé: the other wayAfter the couple decided to say goodbye to Maine, James drove Metalia to the airport so she could leave Maine and start a new life in her native Indonesia.
“I’m not ready to let you go,” James said.
Metalia felt the same way she left her husband, but also had to leave their dogs – something James revealed before she left for Indonesia. What’s more, James hid the news of his family’s return, so Metalia didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to them properly.
“Well, I’m ready to see my family again,” Metalia said in the interview. “I’m also sad that I’m leaving James and Jojo, especially Jojo, because James just told me he can’t come to Indonesia right away. And I can’t go see his family just to say goodbye, which is really sad because we Didn’t tell them we were moving.
Back in the car, both James and Metalia are optimistic that Jojo and James will eventually move to Indonesia. Metalia is still upset that James didn’t tell her about JoJo until the last moment. Still, they have a plan to reunite the family.
James revealed that he will travel to Indonesia within the next month or one and a half months. But things took a turn when James realized he and his wife didn’t see eye to eye over work.
“While I’m here, I’m going to work as hard as I can because that’s going to be our money there,” he told his wife. “Then I’ll work hard for your family.”
Metalia then drops a bomb that could completely derail their plans.
“No, that’s it,” she told James. “If you work with my family, they’re not going to pay you.”
“So, what are we going to do? Because you said it was going to be a job, but now you’re telling me I’m not going to make any money working for them,” James asked.
“They never pay for their families,” Metalia replied.
James showed that the plan didn’t work for him.
“If we can’t go there and have any type of life, why are we doing this? I’m not going to move somewhere if I can’t take care of you,” he said, clearly frustrated.
