BERLIN (CelebrityAccess) – Grunge legend Pearl Jam have canceled several shows on their current European tour, citing illness.
Pearl Jam were scheduled to perform at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the weekend, but announced they were canceling the show due to “the band’s illness.”
“This decision was the last thing we wanted to make, especially since we know many of you have travel plans based around your travel schedule. Based on our current health status, we simply have no other options and must avoid further damage,” a representative for the band said in announcing the schedule change.
Pearl Jam later announced a show scheduled for July 2 and 3 at Berlin’s Waldbahnhof.
“Despite everyone’s best efforts, the band has not fully recovered,” the band said in a statement shared on social media on Sunday.
Refunds will be provided at the time of purchase, according to the statement.
Pearl Jam is scheduled to return to the Palau Sant Jordi stage in Barcelona on July 6th.
