A complete cycle is unfolding all the time James Gunn“Superman” set—— Will Reeveson of the iconic Christopher Reeveis flying into the DC Universe and making a cameo in Gunn’s movie.
As you know, Christopher donned the red cape in the ’70s and ’80s Superman movies… and he’ll no doubt be happy to see his young son embracing Gunn on the set of Cleveland, Ohio in these heartwarming photo.

It’s unclear exactly what Will’s role is, but as you can see, he’s wearing a slick Clark Kent-esque suit while patting Gunn and giving him a hug – while everyone else on set Applause, so it looks like he just finished filming his scene.
One thing is for sure – he won’t be playing the titular role, which has already been played by David CollenswaiteWho is keep swinging Classic blue and red suits around Cleveland.
Still, Will didn’t have to do much with this movie, as his father is basically synonymous with the character – he threw himself into the role in 1978’s Superman: The Movie and appeared in 3 more In the sequel, he continued to wear the “S” on his chest until 1987.
Twenty years after Christopher’s death, Gunn, 52, is apparently hard at work on his new vision for the DC Cinematic Universe, which is set to hit theaters in July 2025.
