this 2024 BET Awards Producing some of the best performances of the year!
Sunday’s awards ceremony celebrated the year’s best achievements by black performers in entertainment, television, film, sports — and, of course, music. In addition to winning awards, some of the biggest names in music took to the stage at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California to perform their famous hits.

Later in the evening, Meghan appeared as a surprise guest on GloRilla’s “Wanna Be” performance.
Will Smith also performed on stage With his inspiring new song “You Can Make It,” he performed in a ring of fire alongside Kirk Franklin and Sunday Service.
Some of the biggest hits of the year were also celebrated with epic performances, including Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Sexy Red’s “Get It sexyy,” and Muni Long’s “Made for Me.” Other performers at the 2024 BET Awards include Latto, Ice Spice, YG Marley, Tanner Adell and Tyla. Heading the list of nominees for this year’s BET Awards is Drakewhich received seven nominations in 2024, including Album of the Year For All Dogs (Scary Hour Edition)Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Best Collaboration Filming “Rich Dad” with Sexy Red and SZA and won the Video of the Year award twice “First Person Shooter” by J. Cole and “Rich Baby Daddy” with Sexyy Red and SZA.
Nominations are selected by the BET Voting Academy, a group of respected entertainment professionals and influencers in the fields of music, media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations and the creative arts.
