Jojo Siwa has a new tattoo. This is a bit unusual.
As much as JoJo Siwa loves to laugh at trolls and tease her fans, she also It takes time to have fun.
Now, the singer and entertainer is going through some brand changes.
The just-21-year-old is showing off some brand new ink! It apparently has something to do with a major new project.
JoJo Siwa has a brand new tattoo!
JoJo Siwa appeared in a photo on Instagram on Wednesday, June 26. Not on her own page, but on the Costello Tattoo Team’s page.
As you can see in the photo below, new tattoos appear on her arms. She rolls up her sleeves to show off her art.
The artwork itself appears to show a teddy bear with wings.
“Our man @konstantin_tattoo tattooed the incredible @itsjojosiwa with this masterpiece!” the Instagram caption read:
The caption explains: “Her new album cover comes to life in ink.”
Then, the friendly title ended: “Thank you JOJO for coming to Costello Studio, can’t wait to listen to your new album!”
Wait, is JoJo Siwa releasing a new album?
JoJo’s last full album was in 2021, Team J It’s an acoustic album – it’s a little different.
Her last EP (Extended Play) goes back even further, because JoJo’s Rockin’ Christmas Coming out in 2020.
And, before 2024, JoJo’s last non-album single “Nonstop” also debuted in 2020.
This spring, JoJo released Karma. It’s her first “adult” single – more a reference to her desire to appeal to teenagers and adults with her music than to kids.
It’s very difficult to go from an artist whose target audience is single-digit kids to an adult who has normal relationships and wants fans to be the same age as you. No one wants to be the birthday clown forever, no matter how successful they are.
The transformation reminded many of what Miley Cyrus went through more than a decade ago. And, to be honest, “Karma” has nothing to do with Miley’s cannot be tamed era.
‘Karma’ Reactions Are Mixed
It turns out that this happens for a reason. “Karma” was originally written for Miley, who passed on the song but did not perform it on “Can’t Be Tamed.”
Britt Smith ultimately chose the song. Unfortunately, it failed at the time.
Britt’s songs have enjoyed a renaissance since JoJo Siwa released her single “Karma” to mixed reviews. (It’s actually a good song; JoJo’s version actually isn’t bad)
Although JoJo has yet to officially release the song, “Choose Your Fighter” will be her next single. And, one imagines, may appear on her untitled album.
We have to stress that JoJo herself isn’t publicly showing off her album cover or anything. We don’t know when this (alleged) album will be released, nor what its title will be.
But it’s certainly worth a listen. JoJo Siwa’s tattoos are fun, but the real draw is that a full album is sure to include at least one absolute pop hit.
