Sad news came from the entertainment industry this week:
Lizzy Musi, a main cast member of the reality show Street Outlaws: King of the Unprepared, has died after being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.
She is 33 years old.
The tragedy was confirmed on Facebook late Thursday, with her father, Pat Musi, writing:
“At 11:25 tonight, Liz was called to heaven in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family.
“Thank you everyone for your prayers and support throughout her battle. At this time, the family wishes to have time to process, grieve [sic] and make peaceful arrangements.
“We will provide an update as soon as we have information to share.”
Liz hit the small screen in No Prep Kings, a spinoff of Discovery Channel’s 2018 drag racing series Street Outlaws.
It chronicles the stories of street racers competing on unprecedented and challenging terrain.
Musi first shared her cancer diagnosis on Instagram in April 2023.
“Hey everyone, due to unexpected life changes, I haven’t had much time to post,” she wrote at the time. “A few days ago, I was diagnosed with triple-negative stage 4 breast cancer, which had metastasized to my lymph nodes and liver.
“I still have a difficult journey ahead of me. I thank everyone for their messages and calls.
Two months later, Liz said she shaved her head due to “severe hair loss.”
“This is the new me… some days it’s hard to look in the mirror, but some days I feel stronger than ever,” she added, sharing a photo of her new look at the time.
According to her father’s website, Liz stars in the aforementioned show alongside her father, an eight-time PDRA Pro Street World Champion.
Before the death of the reality star, “Street Outlaws: America’s Fastest” driver Ryan Fellows died in a car accident in August 2022 at the age of 41.
‘Street Outlaws’ Star Christopher “Kentucky” Ellis also He died at the age of 39 in September 2020 after being found in his home in Oklahoma City.
