Kenya Moore is currently unemployed.
But she also has no regrets.
As previously reported, Moore won’t be wrapping up Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta … after she allegedly hung a poster of co-star Brittany Eady over what appeared to be a sexual act behavior that violates Bravo’s Code of Conduct.
Moore decided to display the posters after claiming Edie threatened her with a gun.
Producers reportedly investigated the allegation and found no evidence that Edie had done anything of the sort, placing the blame squarely on Moore and her actions and essentially removing her from the show she starred in for 11 seasons Medium dismissal.
We know there’s a lot to unpack there.
“Kenya will not be returning to RHOA this season. After she felt how the incident was handled and how she was treated, she decided it was best for her to leave on her own,” a source told Entertainment Tonight this week.
On a related note, TMZ writes that Moore is considering legal action against the cable network.
Meanwhile, Moore shared a post on Instagram on June 26 of herself and daughter Brooklyn together.
“Thank you all for your support #teamtwirl. My heart is full and my conscience is clear,” Moore began. “There are so many false claims behind anonymous sources. All of these conversations are not reporting any facts. If a claim or source is valid, do they need to hide it?
Moore was apparently referring here to her indefinite suspension from the program.
“Rumors and narratives about my casual display of nudity or revenge[orn] 1000% untrue. I have proof and will share it soon,” Moore wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.
My life is happy. My daughter and I will continue to thrive in a drug-free environment where we feel appreciated and most importantly protected.
Thank God for covering us.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran previously denied reports of her alleged inappropriate behavior when they first surfaced on June 8.
“I will never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed anyone’s private images or videos, nor have I solicited images owned by others for use in threats or blackmail,” she wrote on Twitter three weeks ago. “I’ve always been proven right. Even if someone plants fake news #sweet1, I can’t tell the story.
Earlier this year, Leah McSweeney sued Bravo for allegedly supplying her with drugs and alcohol.
In February, Brandi Glanville accused Andy Cohen of sexual harassment.
This is a difficult time for the network and those responsible for it.
Kandi Burruss weighed in on the controversy during a June 24 interview on the “Streetz Morning Takeover” radio show … defending Moore at the time.
“I don’t like that they suspended Kenya. I know a lot of people are like ‘she shouldn’t show it,’ but that’s the housewife,” she said.
“How many times have we done things that you think others shouldn’t do? So who makes the rules?
“Why do you suddenly have such a problem with someone doing something crazy to someone?”
