While viewers watching her performance at the BET Awards were certainly curious about Victoria Monet’s relationship, she certainly most Known for her music.
She sang many wonderful and memorable songs. But she’s also written more for some of the biggest names in the industry.

Chloe X Halle’s 2020 hit song “Do It” and Brandy’s “Rather Be” from the same year were both written by Victoria Monet.
The same goes for TI’s 2012 “Introduction,” Coco Jones’s 2013 “Déjà Vu,” and Fifth Harmony’s 2015 “Reflection.”
All of these songs were chart toppers. Although the artist behind them is famous, their songwriting itself has its roots in Victoria Monet.
Perhaps the most famous singer of songs written by Victoria Monet is Ariana Grande. They have collaborated many times.
Her two Grammy nominations came for co-writing “Thank U, Next” and “7 Rings.”
Sometimes a songwriting duo will create a string of hits for a short period of time and then move on. But that was not the case with these two men.

Not surprisingly, she has received numerous Grammy nominations, won three Grammy Awards, and a long list of other nominations and wins for other awards and honors.
Obviously, we haven’t forgotten her most famous and popular song – a song featuring her real human mother and her little daughter Hazel.
“On My Mama” is Victoria Monáe’s single that is a true celebration of music and black culture.
The music video does this while also representing a throwback to the early 2000s.
Victoria deserves to be celebrated. The audience is lucky to see her perform.
