Jeff said that when they were discussing the movie, one of Michael’s first questions about filming was if he would have to learn to ride a horse… JN said that he could definitely do that if he was willing to try.
By the way… motor skills don’t seem to be in Michael Shannon’s grasp – because Jeff said that when they were working on the 2016 sci-fi movie Midnight Special together, Shannon didn’t even have a driver’s license.
The new movie, which centers on a group of outsiders who become a sinister gang, opens in theaters on Friday… and so far it’s received rave reviews, scoring an 82% on Rotten Tomatoes.
So, it doesn’t sound like anyone is too upset that Shannon isn’t riding a bike…even if it might detract from the realism of the movie a bit.
